Lokomat Training

Lokomat Training is a body weight support system with a robot-assisted technology called the Lokomat. This type of therapy is commonly known as locomotor training and is designed to assist a person whose ability to walk has been impaired as a result of neurological conditions.

Conditions we treat using Lokomat training includes;

• Spinal cord injuries
• Brain injuries
• Stroke
• Cerebral palsy
• Other musculoskeletal & neurological conditions

Those with orthopaedic condition(s) such as hip replacements needing the extra body weight support and robot assistance may also benefit.

Please note for NDIS clients, we take both NDIS planned and self-managed participants and Lokomat Training can be claimed under your capacity building budget as Physiotherapy. Please speak to our staff or your support coordinator.
